Hico – Midland Trail ran its record to 6-0 Monday night with a 53-45 win over Mercer Christian (3-2).
Addy Isaacs led all scorers for the Patriots with 24 points, while Brylee Stephenson scored nine points and grabbed 14 rebounds. Rumor Barnhouse had nine for Trail.
Kayley Trump led the Cavaliers with 19 points, seven rebounds and eight steals. Karis Trump scored 11 and Bailee Martin chipped in eight.
Ella Botts scored seven points to go along with eight rebounds and eight steals.
Midland Trail hosts Greenbrier West Tuesday.

Josie Mathes added 14 for the Highlanders, while, Hannah Wayne score 13 and Harley Clevenger had eight.
Kirsten Miller led Liberty with eight points and Jayden Tolliver had six.
