Matewan – Defending Class AA state champion Wyoming East knocked off regional rival Mingo Central for the second time in less than a week with a 72-51 win on Miner Mountain.
Maddie Clark scored 21 points for the Warriors, followed closely by Cadee Blackburn with 20 and Abi Baker with 17 points.
No. 1 ranked Wyoming East (13-2) led by 16 at halftime and by 28 after three quarters.
Addie Smith led all scorers for the Miners with 33 points.
