CHARLESTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – On Monday, Governor Patrick Morrisey presented a $1 million check to a lucky Powerball winner.
The winner was Mary Kathryn Hernandez of Hedgesville. She purchased the winning ticket for the drawing on Saturday, September 6.

She purchased the ticket at the 7-11 on Hedgesville Road. The ticket matched all five numbers, though it did not include the Powerball or a Power Play multiplier.
According to Gov. Morrisey, the 7-11 retailer will receive a 1% selling bonus of $10,000 for selling the winning ticket.
