LEWISBURG, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Greenbrier Valley Festival and Event Sponsorship Program (GVFESP) Cycle Two is now open for applications. Overseen by the Greenbrier County Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB), the GVFESP provides marketing and advertising assistance to Greenbrier County festivals and events.
“In the first cycle of 2023, we sponsored nine events. We’re happy to continue this program and provide additional marketing dollars to help local organizations promote the Greenbrier Valley,” President and CEO Kara Dense said.
Non-profits or multi-partner collaboratives that host events or festivals can apply for up to $2,000 for direct advertising or promotional materials funding reimbursement per project. An organization may apply for multiple projects, but each must be submitted on a separate application. The CVB recommends that events happening between August 2023 through March 2024 apply for this cycle.
The CVB will host a required information webinar at 9 a.m., June 1, for those interested in applying. Cycle two applications are due at 5 p.m. on June 30. For more information regarding the GVFESP visit https://greenbrierwv.com/cvb-grant.
