BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Raleigh County courts are closed Tuesday morning, July 7, because of a planned water service maintenance outage, according to the Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia.
Court officials said the closure is temporary, and courts will reopen once water service has been restored.
Despite the closure, a magistrate will remain on call to handle emergency matters during the outage.
No estimate was immediately provided for when normal court operations will resume.
