RAINELLE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Devon Davis, 21, of Rainelle, was arrested on September 30, 2025, on one count of possession of child pornography, according to the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Office.
The arrest followed an investigation led by Sergeant D.L. Vaught, initiated after a tip from the West Virginia State Police Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force.

Authorities said the tip led to a detailed investigation, culminating in Davis’s arrest.
Davis is being held at the Southern Regional Jail on a $15,000 cash-only bond. The investigation is ongoing, and additional charges may be filed as evidence is reviewed.
In a joint statement, Greenbrier County Prosecuting Attorney Nicole Campbell and Sheriff Bart Baker said:
“Anyone who targets, victimizes, or exploits our children will be targeted for arrest and prosecution. The safety of our children is our top priority, and we remain steadfast in our resolve to protect them at all costs.”
Authorities encourage anyone with information about internet crimes involving children to report it to the appropriate authorities.
