LEWISBURG, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Department inducted the newest member into its ranks Monday as Aaron Bradley Davis took his oath of office.
The oath having been administered by Circuit Judge Jennifer P. Dent on Monday, April 24, 2023, the swearing in marks the achievement of a career goal for Davis, a lifelong Greenbrier County resident who also serves as a member of the West Virginia National Guard.
“Don’t put off until tomorrow what you can do today,” said Davis of the accomplishment.
Greenbrier County Sheriff Sloan also remarked upon the occasion, expressing enthusiasm on behalf of the department for what looks to be a bright future for the newest member among its ranks.
“Aaron is a welcome addition to our department, and he is eager to begin his new career. Although he will not be working independently until his graduation from the State Police Academy and completion of his field training probationary period, he is going to be a tremendous asset to our department and the country,” he said.
“We look forward to his service with the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Office and his commitment to public service for the citizens of Greenbrier County.”
