HINTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The City of Hinton’s governing body begins a new 4-year term today.
Hinton Mayor Jack Scott has been re-elected for a second term.
The City Council includes two new members, Lee Ann Goins and Janima Bond, alongside incumbents ‘Bobbi’ Sorg and Jim Leslie.
A public swearing-in ceremony will be held on Tuesday, July 2, at noon at the Freight Depot.
Residents are encouraged to attend and show their support.
A total of 618 city voters participated in the election.
