FAYETTEVILLE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Outpost New River Gorge will host a special holiday-themed benefit concert, Holiday Pickin’ for the Pantry, on Friday, December 6, featuring nationally acclaimed bluegrass group the Larry Keel Experience. The event will take place inside The Outpost Lodge and aims to support local families during one of the most critical times of the year.
The annual celebration blends live music with community giving, with all donations benefiting the Fayette County Emergency Food Assistance Center and Mountaineer Foodbank. Organizers are encouraging attendees to bring nonperishable food items or monetary contributions to help stock food pantry shelves during the holiday season.

Donation-Based Raffle
Guests will receive one raffle entry for every $10 donated, whether through cash or nonperishable food items. Businesses from Fayetteville and the New River Gorge region have contributed a variety of prizes, including a Season Ticket Pass to The Outpost’s 2026 Groove in the Gorge music series.

The Outpost bar will serve holiday drinks and bar snacks throughout the evening, adding to the warm and festive lodge atmosphere.
