MASON COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – On Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at approximately 5:20 pm, Troopers with the Mason County Detachment and Deputies from the Mason County Sheriff’s Department responded to a suspicious death call in the 600 block of Carson Road near Mason, West Virginia.
The deceased body of a white male was discovered at this location.
The victim was transported to the Office of the State Medical Examiner.
The victim has been positively identified. At this time the name is not being released due to pending investigation.
This case is being investigated as a homicide. Investigators are still attempting to track down leads in this case.
