Hotel drug bust leads to two arrests

BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Two individuals were arrested early on Monday in a drug bust at a Raleigh County hotel.

According to reports from the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office, at approximately 3:00am Monday morning, Cpl. B.J. Adkins responded to suspicious activity in the parking lot of the Microtel at 2130 Harper Road in Beckley.

Deputy B.M. Toler, Deputy M.D. Tailey, and K-9 partner Ajax were brought in to assist upon further investigation.

Upon Deputy Talley having run K-9 Ajax on the vehicle in question, 169.6 grams of suspected Methamphetamine, 21.89 grams of suspected Fentanyl, $9,565.00 in suspected drug proceeds were recovered.

Erin L. Ratliff 43 of Beaver, WV and Jalen O. Thomas-Goodwin 25 of Huntington, WV were arrested, and face charges on 6 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver and 1 count of Conspiracy to Commit a Felony.
