CHAPMANVILLE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man faces charges after standing outside Best Western screaming expletives towards people while intoxicated.
According to police, on Thursday, August 24, 2023, authorities responded to Best Western on Central Avenue, in Chapmanville, for a man behaving disorderly. When they arrived, officers identified the suspect as Ernest Robery Ulbrich Jr.
An employee of Best Western stated that Ulbrich had been standing outside and screaming expletives towards people entering the building.
Officers noticed that Ulbrich was under the influence and showed signs of disorientation and hallucinations. When the officer attempted to handcuff Ulbrich, he pulled away twice.
Ulbrich is charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct. He is currently in jail.
