FAYETTEVILLE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Fayette County bus driver is currently the subject of an investigation after a student was left unattended on a school bus earlier this week.
Superintendent of Fayette County Schools, Gary Hough on Friday, substantiated the claims, assuring that the matter is being investigated by Fayette County Schools.
“We’ll confirm it, and the student was on for a short period of time,” Superintendent Hough tells LOOTPRESS. “We’re investigating and disciplining the employee.”
Identifying information pertaining to the student or driver – including bus number and specific school – have not been disclosed at the time of writing.
