LINDSIDE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The No. 12 ranked James Monroe Mavericks picked up another strong performance at home Friday night, defeating the Liberty Raiders 42-21.
The Mavericks’ offense set the tone early and maintained control throughout, handing James Monroe its third win of the season. Liberty fought to stay in the game but was unable to match the Mavericks’ scoring pace.

With the victory, James Monroe improves to 3-1 and will travel across the state line next week to face Narrows, VA. Liberty drops to 1-3 on the year and will look to bounce back when they travel to Westside to take on the Renegades in their next matchup.
