WINSTON SALEM, NC (LOOTPRESS) – K&W Cafeteria, a long-standing staple in North Carolina’s dining landscape, has shut down all of its remaining locations effective Dec. 1, 2025. The company announced the immediate closures Monday afternoon through a post on its official Facebook page.
The Winston-Salem–based chain still operated restaurants across the Triad, including sites in Winston-Salem, Greensboro, and Burlington. The sudden announcement marked the end of an era for the cafeteria-style brand, which had served communities across the region for decades.
In its statement, K&W Holdings Group LLC expressed appreciation for its customers while confirming the permanent shutdown of the business.

All existing locations closed effective 12/1/2025. We thank you for your support throughout our years in business.
