A local slaughterhouse has decided to close permanently as they have not been able to hire anyone.
According to a Facebook post from the business, Bika’s Slaughter House located in Rupert has decided to close permanently effective Saturday, September 9, 2023.
The post stated that have no room or manpower to take anything else this week and that they are calling everyone with an appointment as quickly as they can to let them know of the upcoming closure.
The post further stated that they are closing as they can not get anyone to work even though they have attempted to attract employees.
