BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A fundraising campaign has been launched to help a West Virginia State Police dispatcher and her family after they lost their home and all of their belongings in a devastating house fire in Raleigh County.
According to the GoFundMe campaign, dispatcher Emma Bowyer, who serves with the West Virginia State Police, and her family are beginning the difficult process of rebuilding after the fire completely destroyed their home.
Emma, her husband, and their son reportedly lost everything in the blaze, including family photographs, appliances, and other personal belongings.
The fundraiser states that the family is also facing financial hardship as Emma has had to take time away from work following the fire, leaving them without income during the recovery process.
Donations will be used to help the family with their most immediate needs as they replace essential items and work toward rebuilding their lives.
Organizers of the fundraiser are encouraging anyone who is able to contribute, noting that Emma has spent her career serving her community and now needs the support of others during this difficult time.
