RALEIGH COUNTY (LOOTPRESS) – Mac’s Toy Fund has announced that applications for grant funding will be accepted through the month of September, with September 30, 2024, acting as the deadline.
Last year alone, $38,500 was awarded to nearly two dozen local charities through Mac’s Toy Fund. These funds went toward clothes, items, and Christmas toys to benefit local families.
Each year, Mac’s Toy Fund grant funds accepts applications to provide grants to charitable organizations which engage in the distribution of coats, toys, bikes, and a variety of similar items to community families facing the greatest need.
“While running our Christmas event, everyone was so grateful that they have such a supportive community and caring people to turn to who will be there for them,” said Friends of Coal Ladies Auxiliary Board Member, Tina Martina.
Nonprofit organizations have been encouraged to submit funding applications through the remainder of the application window, which closes at midnight on the 30th of September, 2024.
