RALEIGH COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man is behind bars after haunting a young teenager about sexually assaulting her.
According to State Police, on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, a mother told them that her 13-year-old daughter had come to her and informed her that someone had been harassing her online through a social media account. Â When the mom looked through the chats, she realized the suspect had created a fake social media account with only photographs of her daughter.
When troopers viewed the fake account, they saw a message from the suspect that said, if the juvenile didn’t communicate with him, he would add her friends from her school. Â Later, during the chats, the suspect asked the victim if she remembered when he had sexually assaulted her when she was younger or if she remembers when he choked her. Â The suspect explicitly told the child what he would like to do to her sexually and sent her a photograph of his genitals. Â At one point, the suspect asked the victim what she would do if he climbed into her window and sexually assaulted her.
In the messages, the suspect identified himself as a 28-year-old “Leslie” and stated he was her father’s cousin. Â During the chats, the victim’s mother accidentally voice called the suspect and advised she could positively identify the suspect’s voice as Leslie Robinson.
On May 26, 2021, a subpoena was issued for the IP address, and it returned a positive identification of the victim.
Troopers arrested Leslie Robinson and charged him with solicitation of a minor and use of obscene matter to seduce a minor. Â He is currently in Southern Regional Jail under a 75,000 dollar bond.
