PRINCETON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The City of Princeton’s Community Improvement Commission’s Annual “Make It Sparkle, Princeton!” contest is once again offering cash prizes to businesses within city limits that decorate their storefronts for the holidays.
Any business that has a brick & mortar location can enter the contest. A business can register their storefront by emailing or texting “Make It Sparkle” to: c.mabe@princetonwv.gov or 304-920-5796. Participants need to provide their business name, business address, and a good quality photo of their decorated storefront.
Registration will close on December 15 at midnight, with judging taking place on December 21, 2023. Contestants will be free to decide their winter holiday theme, and judging will be based on execution, creativity, theme, and attractiveness.
The “People’s Choice” award will be awarded to the storefront photo that receives the most “likes” on the City of Princeton Facebook page. Contestants are encouraged to sign up for the contest sooner than later, as they will receive longer exposure on Facebook which will increase their chance to receive votes!
Cash prizes will be awarded as follows:
First Place $500, Second Place $250, Third Place $125, People’s Choice $125
Winners will be announced on December 22 at 1:00 p.m., with prizes awarded to business owners (or an equivalent local representative) shortly thereafter. Winning contestants will be chosen by a judge independently selected by the Princeton Community Improvement Commission (CIC).
