RALEIGH COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A West Virginia man is facing an indecent exposure charge after allegedly exposing himself and masturbating in front of a woman and her two young children in a shopping center parking lot.
According to a criminal complaint, the incident occurred on or about Aug. 2, 2026, at the Crossroads Mall parking lot.
Authorities allege that Addison Dale Cook intentionally exposed himself for the purpose of sexual gratification while in the presence of another person.
The victim told investigators that Cook pulled his vehicle alongside hers in the parking lot before lowering his pants and engaging in masturbatory acts while she and her two young children were inside their vehicle.
The woman stated she watched as Cook reached climax, cleaned himself off, and then drove away from the scene.
Based on the woman’s sworn statement and the totality of the circumstances, the investigating officer determined there was probable cause to charge Cook with indecent exposure under West Virginia law.
The charge remains an allegation, and Cook is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
