BELINGTON, WV (LOOTPRESS)— A Belington man was arrested early December 28, 2025, after police say a domestic disturbance at a local bar led to threats toward a woman and damage to a vehicle in the parking lot.
According to a criminal complaint filed by Patrolman T.L. Cooper of the Belington Police Department, officers responded to Al’s Hot Spot around 2:10 a.m. for a reported domestic incident.
When Cooper arrived, he spoke with a witness who identified herself as Amanda Sigley. She told police that Kenneth Everson had been inside the establishment arguing with his girlfriend, identified as Kimberly Faesenmeier. Sigley reported that Everson later exited the bar, approached her vehicle, and kicked it — an act that was reportedly recorded on the bar’s security cameras.
Cooper said he observed damage to the vehicle consistent with the witness account, including part of the front grill broken off and lying on the ground.
The officer then made contact with Everson at his apartment next door. During the investigation, authorities learned that Everson had allegedly cornered his girlfriend inside the business and made verbal threats toward her before damaging the vehicle. A second witness independently confirmed the account, according to the report.
Cooper returned to Everson’s residence, made contact with him, and placed him under arrest on a charge of domestic assault.
No further injuries were reported.
