SMITHERS, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A stepson is accused of being high and slamming his stepmom to the ground because he thought she had his lighter.
The victim told a Fayette County Deputy that John Selbe, JR., was allegedly high on drugs and came into the living room, accusing her of having his lighter. Â At that time, Selbe reportedly slammed the victim to the floor. Â The victim left the home and met deputies at a church.
Deputies say they didn’t notice any visible injuries on the victim. Â The victim wanted to file charges.
Selbe was charged with domestic battery by the Charleston Police Department on April 11, 2015. Â He was also arrested again for domestic battery by Kanawha County Deputies in 2014.
Selbe is charged with domestic battery for this incident, which makes it a felony.
He is currently out on bond.
