BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Raleigh County man faces charges after entering a Beckley motel naked and then defecating in the dining area sink.
According to State Police, on Sunday, October 9, 2022, they responded to the Travel Lodge Motel on Harper Road in Beckley for an indecent exposure complaint. A motel worker told police that a man walked into the breakfast dining area, and she told him to leave the property multiple times, but he refused. She left and came back to see if he had left, and she found the man only wearing a t-shirt, and his genitals were exposed.
Before law enforcement arrived, the suspect locked himself inside the food pantry connected to the breakfast dining area. When police knocked on the door, the suspect refused to open it. The worker told police they could force entry into the room because she didn’t have a key. Once police forcibly opened the door, they found the suspect completely naked.
Before the police arrived, the suspect defecated in the sink in the breakfast dining area.
The suspect was arrested and charged with indecent exposure, obstructing a police officer, and trespassing. He is currently in Southern Regional Jail under a 2,000 dollar bond.
