WOOD COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Deputies with the Wood County Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic disturbance on Thorn Street in Wood County on May 8, where a firearm had reportedly been discharged.
Upon arrival, deputies made contact with a man outside the residence who reported that another man inside had fired a gun.
Deputies entered the home and detained the suspect, identified as 39-year-old Dustin Leroy Adams of Washington Drive.
According to the report, Adams had fired the weapon after stating he was going to shoot a dog.
Adams was arrested and charged with two counts of wanton endangerment.
He is currently out on bond.
