SUMMERS COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Authorities say multiple arrests are anticipated following a shooting incident at a Summers County bar over the weekend.
According to Summers County Sheriff’s Office, an argument late Saturday night escalated into an exchange of gunfire at the Rock Ridge Bar.
Sheriff Justin Faris confirmed that several individuals discharged firearms during the altercation.
One woman was taken to a local hospital with injuries that were described as non-life-threatening. Her identity has not been released.
Deputies arrested 27-year-old Rasean Terrell Smith on Sunday in connection with the incident.
Smith has been charged with wanton endangerment, brandishing a weapon, and firing a weapon within 500 feet of a dwelling.
Smith’s bond was set at $21,500. He remains at Southern Regional Jail.
The investigation remains ongoing.
