BOONE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A domestic disturbance in Comfort, Boone County, early Thursday morning has led to charges against Nicholas Burdette, following allegations of physical and verbal abuse.
At approximately 12:06 a.m. on January 9, 2025, authorities were dispatched to a residence on Leslie Drive after reports of a possible domestic dispute.
Upon arrival, officers made contact with the victim, who reported that an argument began after she refused to let Burdette, identified as her boyfriend, use her vehicle. According to the victim, Burdette became angry, kicked her in the leg, and spat on her.
The victim further stated that Burdette escalated the situation by throwing his phone at her, though it missed. He then allegedly struck her in the face with a plastic plate before walking outside onto the porch.
