CROSS LANES, WV (LOOTPRESS) – One man is behind bars after physically throwing his grandmother out of the house.
According to a criminal complaint, on Friday, April 21, officers responded to a residence in Cross Lanes in reference to a domestic disturbance.
Upon arrival, the victim told police that her 26-year-old grandson Daylen Brightwell and she got into a verbal argument and things turned physical.
The complaint further states that Daylen grabbed the victim and physically threw her out of their home and onto the front porch. Police observed scratches on the victim’s forearm and a small bruise on the upper part of her arm.
Brightwell was arrested and charged with Domestic Battery. He remains at South Central Regional Jail on a $3,000 cash-only bond.
