NICHOLAS COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – One man is behind bars after threatening to kill the family dog and pushing his niece.
According to a criminal complaint, on, Saturday, February 25, 2023, the defendant Howard Eugene Wilford pushed his niece in the chest with his hands causing her to stumble backward.
The incident occurred at the victim’s residence in Nicholas county. Following the push, Wilford then pulled a knife from his person and threatened to kill the family dog before returning to his residence located next door.
Wilford was arrested and charged with domestic violence. Wilford does have several prior 2nd domestic violence convictions. He is currently at Central Regional Jail on a $25,000 bond.
