CHARLESTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – One man has been arrested after striking his boyfriend in the head eight times, causing him to bleed from his head.
According to a criminal complaint, 32-year-old Brandon Joseph Quihuis entered the apartment he shares with his boyfriend on Lee Street East in Charleston while intoxicated and began striking his partner in the head.

The attack reportedly involved approximately eight blows, resulting in head injuries and visible bleeding.
Police responded to the incident at the Charleston apartment following the reported assault.
Quihuis was arrested and charged with Domestic Assault and Battery 2nd Offense.
He is currently at South Central Regional Jail on a $1,000 cash-only bond from Kanawha County and a $572 cash-only bond from the City of Charleston.
Records indicate that Quihuis has a prior conviction for domestic battery.
He was found guilty of the charge on December 22, 2022, and served a 12-month sentence.
