BOONE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – An Ohio man is facing charges out of Boone County, WV, after he allegedly was talking “out of his head,” asking for money, and advising he worked for the FBI.
West Virginia State Troopers say that Travis Steven Jordan, of Ohio, was at the Little General Store in Van, WV, asking people for money. The witnesses say that Jordan was talking out of his head and advised he worked for the FBI. When troopers arrived, Jordan claimed that people were trying to kill him and he worked for the FBI out of Akron, Ohio, but couldn’t provide any law enforcement identification or a badge.
Jordan later admitted to using methamphetamine. He was charged with disorderly conduct, public intoxication, and impersonation of a law enforcement officer. He is in jail under a 300 dollar cash-only bond.
