CHARLESTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – One man has been arrested after threatening to kill his mother and burn her house down.
According to a criminal complaint, on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, police responded to a residence on Washington Street West in Charleston following an argument between 36-year-old Justin Ball and his mother.
The complaint states that Ball made a gesture across his throat to tell her he was going to kill her.
He also threatened to burn his mother’s house down.
Once police arrived, Ball was yelling and screaming at the victim and continued to do so after being told to stop by police.
Ball then fled out of a window of the residence and began running across the street where he was apprehended by police.
Ball was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct, Fleeing From an Officer, and Domestic Assault.
He is currently at South Central Regional Jail on a $1,500 cash-only bond.
