FAIRDALE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office responded to an attempted robbery at Hartshorn’s Mini Mart on Friday in Fairdale, leading to the arrest of a local man.
Deputies were dispatched to the convenience store, located at 713 Bolt Road, on April 25 following a report of an attempted robbery.
Law enforcement quickly located the suspect, identified as 47-year-old Theodore Honaker of Raleigh County, in the Fairdale area.
Honaker attempted to flee from officers but was apprehended a short time later.
He was arrested and charged with attempted robbery and fleeing from a police officer.
Deputy M.S. Dunlap was the arresting officer, with assistance from Sgt. H.W. Long, Captain M.P. Webb, and Cpl. E.E. Queen.
Honaker is currently at Southern Regional Jail on a $50,000 bond.
