KENOVA, WV (LOOTPRESS) – On Sunday, July 31, 2022, at approximately 10:15 a.m., Sgt. R. J. Drake and Cpl J. J. Dean received a Breaking and Entering complaint near Kenova, West Virginia.
The Victim, Gary Kirk, advised someone broke into his property and stole a rail buggy.
Troopers developed Timothy Ratcliffe, 42 of Kenova, West Virginia, as a suspect. The Troopers traveled to the suspect’s residence and found the stolen rail buggy parked beside the residence. A week prior to this incident, the victim reported a Breaking and Entering listing property and cash stolen. A search of Ratcliffe’s property yielded a sum of cash and stolen property.
Timothy Ratcliffe was arrested and is currently being held at the Western Regional Jail on charges of Breaking and Entering, Grand Larceny, and Destruction of Property.
This investigation remains active and ongoing.
