UPSHUR COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – One man has been arrested for making terroristic threats on Facebook, drug possession, and operating an open dump.
According to the Upshur County Sheriff’s Office (UCSO), on August 4th, 2023 deputies of the Upshur County Sheriff’s Office arrested Thomas D. Riley, of French Creek on charges including the felony charge of making terroristic threats, possession of controlled substance, and operating an open dump.
This arrest came after a threatening post was located on Facebook. A search warrant was also executed, connected to this arrest, and nothing substantial was noted.
The UCSO says that they believe that all the threats against the victims have been addressed and urge the public to contact law enforcement when threats like this are seen, so they can ensure the safety of the community and its members.
Riley is currently at Tygart Valley Regional Jail on a $75,000 cash-only bond.
