LOST CREEK, WV (LOOTPRESS) – One man has been arrested for murder after a deceased female was found by police last night.
According to the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office, on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, police responded to an incident near Lost Creek around 9:30 PM.
Upon arrival patrol units discovered a deceased female, identified as Selestine Hoffman/Kunkel, 53 of Lost Creek.
The Sheriff’s Office Detective Unit responded and began an investigation ultimately locating and arresting George Alexander Hoffman, 22, and charged him with murder.
Huffman was apprehended today, March 14, 2024, at approximately 8 AM.
Sheriff Robert Matheny extended thanks to the Bridgeport Police for their assistance with processing the scene and the WVSP for their initial response.
