WYOMING COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – On Sunday night, June 15, 2025, West Virginia State Police arrested a man for public intoxication after he was found rolling on the ground near a busy intersection and behaving erratically.
At approximately 10:03 p.m., troopers responded to a report from West Virginia Emergency Response Center (WCERC) of a shirtless man in blue jeans walking into traffic at the intersection of WV Route 10 and WV Route 971.
Upon arrival, officers located the man, later identified as Joshua Dewayne Graham, rolling on the ground next to Route 10. As a trooper exited his patrol vehicle to check on Graham’s well-being, Graham stood up, began yelling, and pulled his jeans down to his ankles, revealing sweatpants underneath. Authorities noted that he was sweating profusely and speaking incoherently.
While searching Graham’s belongings, troopers found three needles in the left pocket of his jeans. The officer attempted to arrange for Graham to stay with a family member and transported him to his brother’s residence, but was ultimately unable to secure a safe place for him to remain.
Graham was then placed under arrest for public intoxication and transported to the Jesse Detachment for processing without further incident.
