RANDOLPH COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – One man has been arrested on felony warrants following a traffic stop.
According to the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, deputies arrested a suspect on felony warrants for Fleeing Police with reckless indifference out of Upshur County Friday evening on February 9, 2024.
The suspect, Darnell McBride, was taken into custody at the Chenoweth Creek ParMar after a traffic stop.
Sgt Brice Cogar, Sr. Deputy Zach Pingley, Deputy Tyler Knotts, Deputy K9 Twix, and West Virginia State Police (WVSP) Troopers Riffle and Hall, assisted at the scene.
A traffic stop was conducted where verbal commands were given to McBride to exit the vehicle or K9 Twix would be deployed.
McBride was taken into custody by K9 presence without incident.
McBride was transported to Tygart Valley Regional Jail (TVRJ) to await arraignment by an Upshur County Magistrate.
