SUMMERS COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Summers County man was arrested Sunday afternoon following a domestic altercation that left visible injuries on his wife.
At approximately 12:40 p.m., State Trooper TFC Lindsey responded to a domestic complaint on Brookman Drive in Hinton. Dispatch advised there was a physical altercation between the victim and Rodney Pack. Reports indicated the accused became erratic upon hearing law enforcement activity on a scanner.
Upon arrival, Trooper Lindsey spoke with the victim, who stated she and her husband had been arguing over a game on a tablet when he grabbed the back of her neck. She further alleged that Rodney Pack threatened to “beat her ass” if she took his daughter.
Trooper Lindsey observed a laceration and red marks on the left side of the victim’s neck, consistent with her statement. The injuries were documented on body camera footage.
Rodney Pack was later located at Adams Gotta Stop, where he denied any physical altercation. Despite his claims, he was arrested for domestic battery and transported to the Summers County Sheriff’s Department for processing before being booked at Southern Regional Jail.
