BOONE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A West Virginia man blames being on meth for uploading child porn from a group KIK account.
Between August 20, 2023, and February 9, 2024, Justin Allen Burgess uploaded three files of child pornography from his KIK account. The National Missing and Exploited Children alerted authorities that three videos showing children engaging in sexual acts had been uploaded. When police questioned Burgess, the man who uploaded child porn, he admitted to uploading the child porn and viewing them. He further stated that he was possibly on meth at the time but advised that he did not view the files for sexual gratification.
On a separate occasion, Burgess told police that he was part of a message board on KIK where people would post pictures and videos. He said he just wanted to watch porn.
Burgess is charged with three counts of exhibiting materials of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct. He is being held in jail under a 60,000-dollar bond.
