IOWA (LOOTPRESS) – Authorities say an Iowa man looking to shake up his “blah” life is now facing criminal charges after allegedly exposing himself to drivers on two separate interstates.
Danan Ary, 30, has been charged with two counts of indecent exposure following back-to-back incidents reported in Johnson County. According to a criminal complaint, multiple drivers witnessed Ary standing at the rear of his vehicle while exposing his genitals to oncoming traffic.
The first incident occurred around 7:30 a.m. on Oct. 14 along Interstate 80 near Oxford, where stunned morning commuters reported the behavior. Just a day later, around 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 15, authorities received similar reports from the northbound lanes of Interstate 380 near North Liberty.
Court documents say a Johnson County Sheriff’s deputy later interviewed Ary, who admitted to the behavior. He reportedly told the deputy he was “fulfilling an ‘excitement’ that was currently missing in his ‘blah’ life.”
No additional details have been released as the case remains under investigation.
