BLUEFIELD, VA (LOOTPRESS) – A jury has reached a verdict regarding charges against a man for the death of a woman in Bluefield.
According to the Tazewell County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office, Michael Pennington has been found guilty by a jury of all charges relating to the murder of Katiee Toler in Bluefield, Virginia in 2017.
The body of Kaityln Ann “Katiee” Toler was discovered dumped on Mountain Lane in the Bluefield area shortly after her disappearance.
Pennington was indicted on 11 felonies by a Tazewell County Circuit Court Grand Jury on May 9, 2017. The charges included 1st Degree Murder, Concealing a Dead Body, 3 Counts of Grand Larceny, 3 Countys of Larceny with Intent to Sell or Distribute, Credit Card Theft, Credit Card Fraud, and Receiving Goods from Credit Card Fraud.
Additional details are expected to emerge regarding sentencing for Pennington.
