PRINCETOn, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Princeton man was arrested on Saturday, February 2, 2025, following a domestic disturbance at 217 Kee Street in Mercer County. Authorities responded to the residence after receiving a 911 call from Alene Lambert, the suspect’s grandmother, reporting that her grandson, Brian Justice, had broken two windows, was damaging the walls of his room, and had physically assaulted her. She also stated that Justice had threatened to “kill everyone if the law was called.”
Suspect Attempts to Flee
Mercer County officers arrived at the scene around 10:10 a.m., with Cpl. E.D. Leftwich positioning himself near the back window of the residence—a known escape route used by Justice in prior incidents—while Ptlm. Cook approached the front door. Justice attempted to flee through the window but retreated back inside upon seeing law enforcement. Officers were able to take him into custody inside the residence.
Victims Report Ongoing Threats
Following Justice’s arrest, officers spoke with both victims. His mother, Kathy Moore, told police that Justice had been making threats against both her and his grandmother throughout the morning and was under the influence of methamphetamine. Lambert, the suspect’s grandmother, confirmed that she had been pushed and threatened during the altercation.
Prior Domestic Violence Conviction
Justice has a prior domestic battery conviction in McDowell County, with a deposition date of August 31, 2021. Following his arrest on Saturday, he was processed and transported to Southern Regional Jail, where he remains in custody awaiting arraignment.
