BOONE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Boone County man faces charges after he destroyed a man’s vehicle with a metal bar.
Boone County deputies, say Douglas Lee Dent, 55, of Hewett, WV, claimed that “coal miners park across from my house and think their old ladies are in my house, and I’m sick of it.” Dent saw a vehicle at the Jeffrey Spencer Grade School and asked the man if he liked his truck; the victim responded by saying yes. Dent then began to damage the car with a metal bar.
The victim told deputies that he was caught off guard and pulled out of the parking lot, fearing for his safety. The victim alleged that he was there to meet his grandfather to pick up some pigs.
Deputies arrested Dent and charged him with destruction of property.
