POCA, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man has been charged with domestic battery, domestic assault, and assault following a domestic disturbance at a residence in Putnam County on Saturday, March 1, 2025.
Authorities responded to 84 Evergreen Circle at approximately 4:55 p.m., where they spoke to two victims. Â According to one victim, a woman had recently given birth via C-section on February 23. She had separated from the child’s father, Tyler David Eastwood (born 10/06/1997), due to previous incidents of domestic violence.
The victim stated that Eastwood arrived unannounced at her home, demanding to speak with the child’s mother. When the victim told him to call instead, he forced his way inside, became irate, and issued threats. The child’s mother then entered the entryway to confront Eastwood, at which point he allegedly threatened both women, saying he would “beat their ass and snap their necks.”
The victim told Eastwood to leave, but he allegedly lunged at her. The daughter stepped between them, and Eastwood grabbed her shoulders and attempted to throw her to the ground. A passing neighbor witnessed the altercation, intervened, and ordered Eastwood to leave. He then released the daughter and fled to his truck, continuing to make threats as he drove away.
Emergency responders were called to the scene, and the daughter was transported to the hospital for medical evaluation. She later confirmed Adams’ account of the events.
Authorities have charged Tyler David Eastwood with domestic battery, domestic assault, and assault. The investigation is ongoing.
