CHARLESTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The West Virginia Republican Party unanimously voted to re-elect Josh Holstein as chairman during a meeting of the State Executive Committee.
Holstein was re-elected to a four-year term as chairman after serving one year in the role. Party members also unanimously elected Tony Hodge as co-chairman, Kelli Sobonya as secretary and re-elected Michele Davis as treasurer.
In a statement following the vote, Holstein thanked the committee for its support.
“It is an honor to have been re-elected unanimously for a four year term as Chairman of the West Virginia Republican Party after serving for one year. I am humbled and so grateful for the confidence of our State Executive Committee. I look forward to continuing my service as Chairman and leading our party towards victory.”
Newly elected Co-Chairman Tony Hodge also issued a statement following the election.
“Serving the West Virginia Republican Party has been one of the greatest honors of my life. I am thankful for the confidence the State Executive Committee has placed in our leadership team. I look forward to working alongside Chairman Josh Holstein as party Co-Chairman and continuing to lead our party to further success.”
Treasurer Michele Davis said her professional background has prepared her for the role.
“My experience as a CPA and business owner has uniquely prepared me to serve as Treasurer. I am happy to do what I can to help our Party succeed. I greatly appreciate the support of the committee.”
Secretary Kelli Sobonya congratulated Holstein on his re-election and said she looks forward to serving with the party’s leadership team.
“I would like to congratulate Josh Holstein on his unanimous re-election as Chairman of the Republican State Executive Committee. I am honored to serve with our newly elected slate of officers as Secretary, representing our party at the state level.”
