BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man charged in connection to the death of a Woodrow Wilson High School student will be extradited back to West Virginia.
According to Onslow County, NC Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, Michael Webb waived his right to extradition proceedings back on Wednesday, June 2, 2021. Â He will now be coming back to West Virginia to face charges.

Back on May 2, 2021, Beckley Police confirmed that Michael Webb and Rashad Brown were charged with accessories after the fact of voluntary manslaughter. Â Jeriamyah Fortner inadvertently shot Dwyane Marquette Richardson Jr while recklessly handling an AR-15 rifle.

Fortner turned himself in to police on May 5, 2021. Rashad Brown turned himself in to police a few days later.
