Snowfall accumulations are expected to range between 3 and 8 inches, with some areas at risk of ice accumulation up to a quarter of an inch.
Additional areas affected include Northwest Pocahontas, Southeast Pocahontas, Southeast Randolph, Southeast Fayette, and Southeast Raleigh Counties.
The precipitation is forecasted to begin as light snow Monday night, transforming into steady and possibly heavy snow through Tuesday night, potentially mixed with freezing rain.
