MERCER COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A violent altercation in Mercer County on March 27 resulted in multiple arrests and charges, including robbery, battery, and drug possession.
Deputies responded to a call about a fight on Low Gap Road, where the victim claimed she was attacked and robbed by Dustin Jones and Kimberly Edwards. The victim, who sustained visible facial injuries, told authorities she was ambushed inside the residence, assaulted, and had approximately $800 stolen from her vehicle before the suspects fled in a red Camaro.
Jones was later located and detained, found carrying $407 in cash and a small bag of suspected crack cocaine weighing 9.9 grams. He was charged with robbery, battery, conspiracy, and possession of a controlled substance.

Kimberly Edwards was arrested two days later and also charged with robbery, battery, and conspiracy. A third individual, Amy Stillwell, provided conflicting statements, claiming the victim attempted to sell her fake drugs and initiated the fight. The investigation remains ongoing.
