Hico – Midland Trail Middle School moved to 3-0 Thursday with an 11-1 won over Clay County in five innings.
Madison Rader collected four hits and grabbed the win in the circle with nine strikeouts.
Ava Campbell and Stephanie Harrell had two hits each, while Harrell drove in five runs.
Midland Trail plays again Monday at home against Peterstown.
